2. Independence and trademarks
CertifBus is an independent preparation and training tool. KNX, PROFINET, PROFIBUS, BACnet, Modbus, DALI-2, OPC UA, EnOcean, Matter, LoRaWAN and CMVP are registered trademarks of their respective owners. Their use on this site is strictly the descriptive use permitted by European and international trademark law (informative reference to the standard or the certification).
CertifBus is neither affiliated with, endorsed by nor associated with the KNX Association, ASHRAE, BACnet International, PROFIBUS & PROFINET International, the Modbus Organization, the DALI Alliance, the OPC Foundation, the EnOcean Alliance, the Connectivity Standards Alliance (Matter), the LoRa Alliance or the Efficiency Valuation Organization (CMVP). No official association or certification-body logo is used on this site.
3. Nature of the questions provided
The questions and mock exams available on CertifBus are original simulations written for educational purposes. They draw on the public concepts described in the standards (ISO/IEC 14543-3 for KNX, ASHRAE 135 for BACnet, IEC 61158 for PROFINET, etc.) but do not reproduce the exact wording of the official exams, which remain the intellectual property of the issuing bodies.
Every question comes with explanations, learning tips and references to public sources, which constitutes an original educational work protected by copyright.
4. No guarantee of success
The training tools provided by CertifBus do not guarantee in any way that you will pass an official exam. Passing a certification depends on many external factors (training attended, field experience, exam conditions). CertifBus cannot be held responsible for a failure on an official exam or the associated costs (resits, complementary training).
5. Personal data
CertifBus only collects the email address and quiz progress of users who have created an account. No data is resold to third parties. Authentication is handled via Supabase (EU hosting). In accordance with GDPR, you can request the deletion of your account and your data at any time from your profile.
6. Sources and attributions
Questions cite their public sources (official specifications, Wikipedia, manufacturer documentation) when available. If you are the rights holder of any content published here and wish for it to be removed or for an attribution to be corrected, please contact us via the profile page.
7. Changes
This legal notice may be updated without notice to reflect changes to the service or to applicable regulations. The version in effect is the one published on this page.
